What is Tierion (TNT)

Because (most) blockchains are immutable and have no barrier of entry, they can be used as a way to store and verify important data. Tierion does this at a massive scale. It uses blockchain technology to notarize property titles and contracts. Users can prove that a piece of data existed before some point of time. Users need to pay the TNT token to do this. This is, in many ways, similar to Peter Todd's OpenTimeStamps on the Bitcoin blockchain. There is an incentive to run nodes because all node operators receive TNT token. Microsoft uses Tierion.
