Fedoracoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency. The currency symbol "TIPS" comes from the popular "Tips Fedora" meme. The codebase and features are quite similar to that of Litecoin and Dogecoin. It uses Scrypt and has blocks every minute. There will be a total of 500 billion coins. Fedora has wallets for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. A compulsory update (hard-fork) was required to subdue dishonest miners who were attacking the network. This caused a network split with some still using the old chain. Coins mined before block 1299878 will exist on both chains.
