ICON is a Chinese company which is building a large decentralized network. It is a blockchain which aims to bring many blockchains together and interoperable. These blockchains may have different government styles, different consensus rules and purposes. ICON wants to bridge them all. This is important because mobile wallets cant run all blockchains or have lite clients for all blockchains. Its development team is concentrated in China. The codebase is completely open source. ICON tokens will be used. The native token will be used to run Dapps and also as an intermediate currency when interoperating between different blockchains.
