Announcing the COTI Hard Fork and the MultiDAG 2.0 Release Date!

- COTI’s protocol will undergo a hard fork during which MultiDAG 2.0 will be deployed.

The biggest leap in COTI’s history is happening right now. COTI’s protocol will undergo a hard fork which will transition COTI from a single currency infrastructure to a multi token layer. During this hard fork COTI is launching MultiDAG 2.0. With this change, also comes a new token standard: CMD (COTI MultiDAG).
COTI is the Enterprise Layer 1. We worked hard for many years to make our solution unique from others and fit for the enterprises’ needs. MultiDAG 2.0 was the missing piece in the puzzle that completes this vision. We are defining a new token standard issued on the Trustchain, similar to the ERC20 token on Ethereum, but on a single DAG.

COTI’s unique MultiDAG 2.0 protocol enables branded enterprise tokens to be generated and minted in seconds on top of COTI’s Trustchain. These tokens inherit Trustchain capabilities such as scalability, high throughput, lower costs, and seamless payment applications.

The timeline for MultiDAG 2.0:
- All of our node operators were asked to update their nodes in the next 15 days, until August 2nd. Please follow the instructions on Discord.
- Hard fork MultiDAG 2.0 Testnet deployment: August 2nd.
- Hard fork MultiDAG 2.0 Mainnet deployment will happen approximately one month later.
