StackOS Node Program Update — Lottery & Auction For The Genesis Nodes
After weeks of anticipation and excitement, we are thrilled to announce that the contract is completed and audited! In this article, you will find an overview of the plan surrounding the Node Program. Which will include information about the Giveaway program, starting of Lottery & Auction for Gen 0 Node NFTs, the Node Portal, and the Marketplace.
February 28th 2022: Giveaway in collaboration with The DeCloud Foundation
Coming Monday, February 28th, a huge giveaway will be launched by the DeCloud Foundation where everyone will have the opportunity to win amazing rewards including two Limited Gen 0 Node NFTs. So, keep an eye on their Twitter account.
March 7th 2022: The Lottery and Auction of Genesis Node NFTs
Haven’t we all been waiting eagerly for this incredibly exciting event!? On Monday, 7th March, the Lottery & Auction for the limited StackOS Genesis Node NFTs will commence. We had promised that our community members would have enough time to move $STACK tokens to the Polygon Chain! Please help get this information to our community members, so that our community members and supporters will not miss out on this information.
This means you will be able to stake STACK to buy a Lottery ticket and also take part in the Auction.
The Auction will end at a random date and time before the lottery ends, so everyone who did not win the Auction can take part in the Lottery. The staking portal for the Lottery will be active for about two weeks to give everyone the opportunity to participate!
We want to stress that you don’t lose your STACK tokens if you don’t win in the Lottery or Auction.
Move your STACK to Polygon
Before the Lottery and Auction are opened on March 7th, you will have to move your STACK tokens over to the Polygon chain! You can do this through bridge.poly.network.
The Node Portal
Once the Lottery and Auctions are completed, the minting for Gen 1 and beyond Node NFTs will begin at a time we will communicate in advance. The way to interact with your nodes to pay the optional monthly maintenance fee and claim all the rewards is through the Node Portal App. This App will be added to the StackOS App Store for you to deploy with just a single click when the Lottery and Auction are completed!
The Marketplace
If you want to trade your Node NFTs you can do so through the StackOS Marketplace. The Marketplace will launch a couple of weeks after the Lottery and Auction are completed.
