Grammy Award-Winning Multi-Platinum Musician Lupe Fiasco to Launch NFT Collection on Origin
We are thrilled to announce the launch of Lupe Fiasco’s first-ever NFT drop on Origin’s industry-leading NFT Launchpad. Lupe Fiasco is a Grammy award-winning multi-platinum musical artist as well as a notable entrepreneur, social activist, and crypto investor. Lupe Fiasco was recently appointed Artist in Residence at MIT and was also GQ’s Man of the Year in 2006 and a Henry Crown fellow. Origin is proud to follow up our record-breaking NFT auction with another direct-to-fan experience in collaboration with a true artistic visionary who has deep roots in crypto.
Lupe Fiasco will be launching five open edition NFTs. All NFT holders will be given admission to a live performance of Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor concert, hosted on Futurestream.tv, the first live stream platform to integrate NFTs. This will be followed by a live meet and greet for concert attendees. NFT holders will also have exclusive access to limited edition physical merchandise and premium digital content. The event is produced by Rita Lee, CEO of Chicago-based NuFace Entertainment, who has produced many renowned artists' major entertainment events.

The Food & Liquor NFT Collection
Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor is a groundbreaking hip-hop album released on September 19, 2006. It was nominated for four Grammy Awards, including the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album at the 49th Grammy Awards. The song “Daydreamin” won Best Urban/Alternative Song at the 50th Grammy Awards. Today, Lupe’s label 1st and 15th continues to produce popular hip-hop tracks that showcase the artist’s unique style and creativity.
