Answering various questions about what the Enecuum mainnet is, when it will be released and how to take part in it, we are excited to announce the mainnet release schedule.

1. PoS challenge in BIT

The first step is to test our program aimed to support people that want to run PoS nodes in the mainnet. This program consists of several rules that allow PoS nodes owners to receive significant delegations of ENQ to their stakes. This is done to increase the total amount of PoS rewards for a validator based on a validators fee.

2. Main net (Trinity)

The next step will be the most thrilling for us. On 18th August 2020, we will stop the Neuro test network, create a snapshot from all account balances in Neuro and form a genesis block for the Enecuum mainnet based on the snapshot.

Running a PoS, PoW or PoA node will be done the same way as in the BIT network. We highly recommend trying Enecuum software in the BIT network to be able to run nodes in the mainnet without issues.

3. Bidirectional swap

For the next two weeks wallet.enecuum.com ERC20 swap will be functional in both directions allowing to make crypto exchanges deals. This time is reserved for PoW difficulty to get stabilised for normal work mode.

4. Native coin listing and token-to-coin transition

Starting from 1st September 2020, two weeks will be reserved to transfer all ERC20 ENQ tokens into the mainnet. There will be two ways to do so: via crypto exchanges and via official web wallet (wallet.enecuum.com). Exchange conversion means that all withdrawals will be made to the Enecuum mainnet. Web wallet conversion will work the same way as the swap works now (the guide is here). There will be no official way to convert ENQ into ERC20.

5. ENQ

On 15th September 2020, after 2 weeks of transition, the Enecuum team plans for all deposits to be done only in native coins. All swap gateways will be shut down. At the end of this stage, only native coins will be tradeable. We will have 3 types of nodes running, smart-staking and minable tokens operable.
