As we arrive at the close of 2017 which has seen tremendous success for Everex, we are taking a quick glance of what our journey through the year has been so far and all the significant milestones the team has achieved. We would like to thank you all for the trust you have placed in us, making our success possible. Here’s a few of the moments from the year having shaped the journey of Everex that we would like to share with you.
Everex’s successful Tokensale
The potential of Everex and its business model was recognised by the community which prompted Holley Group of China, with business interests in North America, South-East Asia, Europe and Africa, to support Everex project.
Later, we brought upon what was the biggest event in Everex’s successful journey where we announced our fundraising event. With an Tokensale rating of 4.2 out of 5 on ICObench and 7.5 out of 10 on Hacked, we successfully closed the crowdfunding, raising an impressive amount for the further development of the project which will bear fruits in the coming years.
FinTech Accelerator — Bangkok Bank InnoHub
We saw Everex presenting at Bangkok Bank’s InnoHub to Thai and foreign investors, getting successfully accelerated, with the support of Bangkok Bank’s mentors who helped us to pinpoint where exactly we fit into the banking system. Our technology reached a global recognition, gathering interests from regional and international banks.
We were also added into the BnKToTheFuture portfolio which put us in illustrious company such as Civic, Blockchain Capital, Bitfinex, Kraken, Shapeshift to name a few. This was a momentous occasion for us as BnkToTheFuture is a leader in its space and who they partner with displays the immense belief in potential of the game changer we set out to build.
Product Development — Ethplorer 2.0 and Chainy
Everex released Ethplorer version 2.0, the foundation of Everex’s suite of products. Ethplorer’s user-friendly design aims to simplify the use of tokens in real life and to support tokens developed with Ethereum’s ERC20. This was a hailed as a breakthrough in the booming Ethereum universe. Currently Ethplorer’s site has reached millions of monthly visits, benchmarking high value to the Ethereum community and token economy overall.
In addition to Ethplorer new release, we successfully integrated Chainy, our independent blockchain-based smart contract, to the RSK testnet.
Building up Partnerships
Right at the time when we were distributing the EVX tokens to the thousands of participants in our fundraising campaign, we teamed up with Bloom which allows both traditional and digital currency lenders to serve billions of people who currently cannot obtain a bank account or credit score. This partnership fit into our goal of Financial inclusion of the 2 billion plus unbanked and underbanked population. Information gathered from money transfers, payments, currency exchange and loans made over the Ethereum blockchain would be gathered and provided to Bloom’s credit scoring system, BloomIQ, in the form of cryptocash transaction data.
Important Team Additions
We added a valuable member into the team, Evgeni Mitkov, an FX veteran who spent more than 20 years in the institutional FX Options market, building the fastest and most complex trading and risk management system and working with the top global banks and buy-side firms in the market. With a vision for Everex to be the premier global payments, FX and trade finance solution on a blockchain for individuals and SMEs, getting Evgeni on board as our COO reaffirmed the Everex vision and roadmap into being a powerhouse in the finance space.
With a clear vision to succeed in our journey, we ramped up the Everex team with a suite of valuable people sharing the Everex vision. This included new faces to be a part of the Everex team like Visakha Thongphetsavong, our bright and dynamic CMO, an ex-Investment Banker, who is working closely with all the verticals to kick up our marketing efforts; Atichai Sirithanapisarn and Santipap Charasphaew for our Thailand team; and Kobe Kang along with her team from HK Capital as our Chinese business and marketing division.
With a fresh outlook and faces going into the year 2018 where experts call it the ‘Pinnacle of Blockchain year’, Everex is committed to fulfilling the vision and goals we set out to achieve when it was born with an idea to be friendly disruptors of the finance industry

And to kick off 2018, we are excited to announce that we will take part in Money 20/20 — Europe’s largest FinTech event in Amsterdam.
