March unlock tokens for all PXS token holders
Our monthly unlock token is coming soon! Follow the guideline here so that you won’t miss it.
Unlock token is a giveaway mechanism to the user whereby tokens are “dropped” to a user’s wallet. All the Pundi X token holders are eligible for this giveaway mechanism till January 2021. The unlock token happens every month. Make sure you hold PXS token in a wallet that you own the private key, such as MyEtherWallet, Metamask, Nano, and Trezor.
WARNING: Please do not keep your PXS in the wallets at public exchanges because you will not get the unlock token.
For March unlock token, it will happen automatically which means you don’t need to do it manually this time through a two-step process.
Why a two-step process? Users are supposed to “stake” the unlock via sending a request to the unlock token contract. However, due to the upcoming listing on the exchanges in the late February, we want to simplify the way you claim the unlock token. All unlock token are still automatic given without the staking process this month.
OK, what do I need to do to get the March unlock token?
To make sure you get the unlock token, please keep your PXS tokens three hours before 23:59 GMT+8 (Singapore /Hong Kong time) on February 28, 2018, and three hours after 00:00 GMT+8 (Singapore / Hong Kong time) on March 1 in a wallet which you own the private key. Our tech team will take a snapshot at 23:59 GMT+8 (Singapore / Hong Kong time) on February 28, 2018. If you are not able to follow the timeline and the guidance above, you won’t get the unlock token.
The March unlock token is 7.316% of the snapshotted amount of PXS tokens you hold in the wallet which you own the private key. We will distribute the unlock token to the snapshotted addresses 48 hours after the snapshot is taken.
Will I get unlock token if I have bought PXS from the exchanges?
You will get unlock token when you own PXS tokens regardless of where you purchase it. Unlock token “ownership” is tied to the token holders. For example, if you buy the PXS tokens on 27th of February 2018 and transfer them to a non-exchange wallet suggested above three hours before 23:59 GMT+8 (Singapore /Hong Kong time) on February 28, 2018, you will receive unlock token in the first two days of March as we are able to take snapshot to calculate your unlock tokens in time.
If you sell ALL your PXS tokens on 27th of February 2018, you would have received unlock tokens in February (and before) but NOT in March and onwards.
Can I store my PXS tokens in different wallets to get unlock tokens?
Yes, you can. Make sure you hold the PXS tokens in the wallets we recommend you to use above and follow the timeline to hold PXS tokens.
