EXPANSE TWITCH STREAMING
Just recently, the Expanse team has started doing live Twitch streams between the lead developer, Christopher Franko, and the community. Live stream session times are posted in advance in our Discord channel and on our other social media sites. Community members can link to the session and are able to ask any questions they like. Feedback has been very positive. Right away, we could tell this was something the community has a great deal of interest in. There were lots of lively discussions that the community, and team, found informative and helpful. In addition, viewers can earn Expanse by watching the stream. Every 10 minutes, viewers will earn 2 Expanse Bits (EXPB). Expanse Bits can be redeemed at the Streamlabs store.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of this Twitch live streaming, the current plan is to continue this live streaming on Twitch about twice a week. Here are some more details from Omar Alvarez - “We are doing live Q&A with the community on Twitch.We take every question and answer. I was in one last Saturday, and the plan is to do it twice a week going forward.” Lastly, these events may be timed with some release, or can just be general questions and answer sessions.

NEW EXPANSE COINPAYMENTS GATEWAY
We are excited to announce that Expanse (EXP) will be among the cryptocurrencies and tokens on the new Coinpayments exchange gateways. They are currently being brought on-line stage-by-stage. Once fully operational, EXP can be easily transferred into different cryptocurrencies, much like Changelly and Shapeshift exchanges do now. but with the specifically supported cryptocurrencies, like Expanse, listed on Coinpayments.
We chatted with the Coinpayments team at the recent Bitcoin Super Conference in Dallas, and this is part of an expected upgrade and expansion of Coinpayments. Expanse benefits by already being a part of the Coinpayments ecosystem. This expansion will increase the utility of the Coinpayments platform by creating a new exchange, that will also help lower costs for Coinpayments as a transfer system. As this is another exchange for Expanse, as well as a Bitpay like payment system, this greatly benefits our platform and community.
There is a contest by, “Altcoinfantasy” with dates for Expanse on the 18th and 24th. This is free, and you can participate and potentially win prizes and gain some attention for Expanse (EXP). Our very own Scott Williams has been working on getting Expanse in various contests like this, and you can help out by joining, upvoting, and sharing contests like this. The more attention we get, the better, Thanks!
The team has built a discord tip bot that also tracks rank and has other fun features. This gamification of discord is a new fun way to interact with the community and incentivize participation. Here is a quick explanation of how it works from Omar Alvarez, “The expanse army is a way to talk to the community, and on the discord channel they will be earning new levels with a bots.”

EXPANSE IN SOUTH AMERICA - PAYZA
We have some very exciting news. Expanse is growing in South and Central America, in places and countries that really need cryptocurrency alternatives now, rather than in some hypothetical future. Many things are in process down there, and Omar Alvarez of Expanse and Gameboard has been working on spreading awareness of Expanse in his home country of Guatemala. About six months ago, he contacted Payza to attempt to get Expanse added to this powerful company that is a major Paypal alternative, and recently, they added Expanse! Beyond that, a specific wallet for Expanse is also being developed now by Payza to add even more utility.
Payza was the one company Omar found after trying 19 others that finally allowed him to exchange crypto and fiat, which allows him to effectively work and be paid in cryptocurrency and buy crypto with fiat, which is essential for real adoption at this point until crypto is everywhere. Payza is very big in South America and covers 190 countries. This means Expanse is not only available for fiat exchange in Guatemala and other Central and South American countries but also many other places around the world. Payza has various business functions, shopping cart integration, and works as a fiat and crypto payments system, and cryptocurrency exchange with multiple fiat currencies supported.
Below is the list of the various popular Altcoins added. As you can see this is quite an exclusive list and a big win for Expanse.

Beyond that, Omar Alvarez has been invited to be a speaker with other entrepreneurs at an upcoming Central American Blockchain convention that is in the early planning stages now. This upcoming event will greatly help Expanse in Central and South America.
TOKENLAB (LAB) AND EXPANSE ADDED TO LOCALBITCOINCASH
We are pleased to announce that LocalBitcoinCash has added both Expanse and Tokenlab to their exchange system. These additions mean that arranged online trades with escrow and arranged trades directly person to person for LAB and EXP can now be made through LocalBitcoinCoinCash. This is a great utility for Expanse and Tokenlab, and a means to physically trade Tokenlab and Expanse outside of normal exchanges.
“The LBCH platform has a lot of differences than its Localbitcoins counterpart. For instance, LBCH has a feature service where users can email BCH to a friend or family member. Trades can be done via escrow using methods like a bank transfer, or users can meet each other locally. The “meetup” option seems to be the most active trades on the platform right now.” - Jamie Redman
Of great interest, LocalBitcoinCash also plans to become an online service like Shapeshift, so once that happens, apparently, Expanse and Tokenlab should easily be tradeable for any of the other cryptocurrencies on LocalBitcoinCash, much like using Shapeshift. So this great news should only get better in the future for the options on LocalBitcoinCash like Expanse and Tokenlab.
As many of you have likely heard, MyEtherWallet and Mycrypto have split up and there are now two teams and two projects where formerly there was only Myetherwallet. Mycrypto.com, one of the teams, has recently added Expanse so you can now use the Expanse Network on Myetherwallet.com or Mycrypto.com as you prefer, as they now both support Expanse. Always use either service with care and make sure to use the correct website address, and use a hardware wallet if possible. Expanse is supported on the Ledger hardware wallet.
Additionally, Bestrate has added Expanse. Bestrate is like a priceline for cryptocurrencies that match the best rates and prices with various exchanges. This makes it easier for people to find the best prices on certain amounts of Expanse they might be looking to buy or sell.

EXPANSE AT THE BITCOIN SUPERCONFERENCE
Expanse hosted our first reception at one of the hotels for the Bitcoin Ethereum Superconference. This event happened in Dallas Texas on the 16th of this month, 6pm-8pm, at the Westin Hotel. Drinks and food were available to visitors and guests, and for a few hours James Clayton and Omar Alvarez of Expanse met and chatted with various people interested in talking Expanse, Blockchain, and the future while enjoying the refreshments and company. We all had a great time at this reception, met some interesting people in the industry, and learned valuable lessons for the next conference and events for Expanse.

Here is a photo of James Clayton and Mark Hilgenberg, a long time friend who is also one of the first admins of the cryptocurrency collectors club. Interestingly, Mark is now the Co-founder of Vault Logic, an ATM company for Bitcoin and Alts. So we certainly have a very good contact if we are interested in potentially getting Expanse on ATMs in the future.

WHAT ABOUT TOKENLAB? THE NEW WEBSITE? MORE NEWS?
As for Tokenlab and an exchange addition, currently, Cryptobridge is in the process and we still anticipate they will add LAB and EXP to their exchange this month. “Our relationship with EXP and LAB is important and valuable to us. We are very excited to list EXP and LAB tokens with various pairs, including BCO. We are delayed, but no less sincere or enthusiastic about where we are headed together.” We are also excited as decentralized exchanges are the future, and Cryptobridge looks very promising, and we can certainly help them with lots of attention and traders that would love to trade LAB. The new Expanse website is also on the way, as it has been, but priorities are what they are and the most important tasks had to be taken care of first, but it is coming. As for more news, yes, more news is on the way and it will be shared as soon as everything is worked out.

EXP.LIFE LOGO REVEAL
EXP.Life, long a dream of Expanse Co-founder Christopher Franko, is about to become a reality. Spearheaded by Omar Alvarez, the project is well underway. One of the first steps was to bring the initiative to life through a brand that reflects the innovation and aspirations behind the concept. The logo is revealed above. It is not just a logo, but a design that is a reflection of the ideals it is created to represent. Here are its origins:
In Maori art, the koru represents peace, personal growth and positive change. Inspired by the shape of an unfolding fern frond, its circular design tells the story of new beginnings and renewal. The varying shades of the color purple, with its mystic qualities, communicates a sense of calm and spiritual balance.
Koru is the Maori word for loop. As if in perpetual motion, the design’s inner coil symbolizes the start of a new life while the outer coil implies continuous and infinite rejuvenation.
This is EXP.Life, where even the end is just the beginning.

My Journey with Expanse

Everything starts with a wish…
I remember that I was sitting in the concourse of the Guatemalan National airport with some friends. We were heading to the Collision Conference in New Orleans, LA. We were reading about the attendees, informational sessions and new technology awaiting us at the conference. The year 2016 was amazing for the Dev Shop, my company, and 2017 was the moment to launch my gamification platform. Sitting there with business cards, web page and a t-shirt we created, I felt proud. I didn´t know what was coming was so big.
So, the Collision conference went fine, and I met a lot people, I got some new clients for the Dev Shop back here in Guatemala, and I attended a lot of fun meetings and parties. The NOLA food and beer were amazing. I was so excited to be there, waiting for an opportunity to introduce GameBoard, The Gamification Playground, to someone that would take the platform to the next level.
After meeting with some local clients, I knew something awesome would happen — and it did happen in a way I really did not expect. Let me tell you about it.
The AHA! Moment
So it was the last day of the conference, and I didn’t get a chance to present Gameboard to anybody. S I put my Gameboard T-shirt on, got my business cards ready, and had faith. I wanted to have breakfast in a small restaurant, run by some cool girls near the Convention Center. It was about 5km from the hotel where I was staying, and it was an amazing morning to walk. I started walking and thinking about how I was going to present the platform to somebody. (Have you ever had that feeling when you want to make other people believe in the things you do, like you do?)
After my 5 km walk, I arrived at the coffee shop, but it was full. I had no problem waiting, so I stood in line. After all, I was just looking for some feedback and validation, despite being successful in the local market. I needed to know if we were ready for the world.
Standing in line, I was approached by a tall, thin guy who introduced himself as Timothy Suggs. He said, “Do we have to sign in to have breakfast?” I said no, and after about 10 minutes waiting, he started talking to me about the blockchain with a passion that you don’t see in many people. He told me what he did for a living, and began to talk about this amazing technology that would change the world. “This is the future and you are in the beginning of a new revolution,” he said. He mentioned that he is part of a community supporting a company named Expanse, which he described as pioneers in blockchain technology who are setting out to change the world. He was so passionate about the tech that listening to him was mind-blowing.
The Hamster in my head, stumble and fall
So 10 minutes before we finished breakfast he asked me what I do for a living. In my mind, the hamster running on the wheel stopped, stumbled and said, “Hey this is it, say it, go!!” and started running like hell. I said, “I created a gamification platform to add the mechanics to any platform. If you have an API to connect your system, I will give you dashboards, leaderboards, points, levels badges… it is a Gamification playground.” Then he asked me to stop talking and to explain it to the Expanse CEO. The hamster stopped again. “The CEO? Oh man.” He told me he would look for me at the conference so we could talk to him. He stood up and left — my mistake I didn´t give him my business card and didn´t get his number.
After the whole day in the conference talking to people about GameBoard and collecting contacts, suddenly Timothy messaged me in the Collision App and said, “Where are you? Come to the food area to meet my CEO.” The hamster collapsed and said, “The CEO?”(You imagine this 60-year-old guy with white hair with a young beautiful model by his side, 6’8”, 240 pounds, so direct and business oriented that you have 30 seconds to tell him what you do.
I was walking cool to the meeting with my heart pumping like hell and there is Timothy with a guy that looks like a “normal developer person” and a beautiful lady. Tim said, “This is Christopher Franko our CEO.” When I met Chris, he made me feel so confident — he was just a regular guy, a person, someone who had a dream and he was living it. He asked me about my life and my story, and then he started talking about his rap music, cryptos, kids, and Expanse.
The hamster sits down to open a beer and said, “This is dope!! Enjoy!”
(Oh!! I forgot, the beautiful lady was Chris’ wife, Heather — awesome person.)
This is the real AHA! Moment
After we explained our platforms and ideas, Chris said I have this project that I always wanted to do. It is about life and I am looking to gamify the experience. After he said that, we talked for an hour about it, creating this amazing platform in our minds. He said, “We will talk next week and do the necessary partnership paper work. This is awesome.”
We both shook hands and said goodbye, somehow, I felt like I knew this guy, maybe from another life. “The big CEO” became an accessible person with values and a dream.
After a few months designing and creating the EXP.Life project, we wrote the white paper and create the logo (coming soon) I started working with Expanse. I am sure this is the greatest opportunity that life gave me, I am in charge now of the project, creating new and amazing things for the platform, part of the Advisory board, and the Ambassador in Guatemala for Expanse. I already held the first meeting with the Blockchain Guatemala group that I created, and I am learning a lot.
For an entrepreneur in Guatemala, with a lot of dreams and the desire to change my country and the world, Expanse has become an excellent opportunity to dream, to work, to accomplish, to create the world that I want to live in.
I will try so hard that one day I will accomplish.

LAB TO LIST ON CRYPTOBRIDGE DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGE
The main announcement for this Newsletter is that CryptoBridge DEX has agreed to list Tokenlab™ (LAB) on their exchange in February. This is huge news for those of us who have been waiting. The agreement also specifies that they will list Expanse (EXP), as well as future tokens launched on the Tokenlab ICO platform. In return, we will help them gain more attention and popularity with our large community of traders and investors that follow Expanse.
As soon as we have the exact date in February from CryptoBridge, we will share it with you all, but it is officially on the way. We will also continue reaching out to centralized exchanges to add Tokenlab, but currently, most are just overwhelmed with demand. That is another reason a scalable decentralized exchange like CryptoBridge has real potential. There is growing demand for a solution like this. Fact is, scalable decentralized exchanges are the future, and this new partnership is a big step in that direction for Expanse and Tokenlab.
In other news, we have also signed a deal with Locopixel to have them assist with some development work. Locopixel is a company of approximately 50 developers. Chris and the Expanse dev team occasionally need help with various work that takes a great deal of time, so Locopixel is being brought on board to assist. We have already run a test project with them to see how they would perform, and they excelled, delivering the test project as needed, on time, and correctly. So we are expanding the relationship beyond just testing and trials to actually bringing them on board to help with various work that we can outsource to them.
This is simply to streamline and speed up the development of the Expanse project in a very time-efficient and cost-effective manner. So this is great news that will help Expanse scale and grow with demand, as development needs naturally become greater over time as Expanse grows.
DROPD UPDATE

Given the evolving regulatory environment in the U.S., Dropd’s ICO will exclude U.S. citizens’ participation. EXCHANGE NEWS
Right now we are setting up a partnership with the decentralized exchange, Cryptobridge, https://crypto-bridge.org/ This partnership will not only be for Expanse and Tokenlab™, but for future projects launched on Tokenlab. We will help the exchange gain attention and bring in liquidity, while having the freedom to add Tokenlab (LAB) and other projects launched on the platform, in return. This is close to a done deal, and we are working out the final details. (Cryptobridge management has granted us permission to share this news.) This is looking like it will be a great, mutually-beneficial relationship: Helping Tokenlab and our clients by having a guaranteed exchange, and in turn, helping Cryptobridge, a very well-designed, decentralized exchange, gain the attention, volume, and liquidity they seek.
We are also in negotiations to purchase a Chinese Exchange. We have been marketing and working over the last year with our Chinese ambassador from this exchange. Both teams are now weighing this option. As we have continued to deepen this relationship, this is a real possibility and not just hype. Buying some Chinese exchange does not mean buying some exchange in China that opens up and tries to take on Chinese regulators. Instead, we are on track to buy the very valuable, closed source code and then relaunching and rebranding the centralized exchange elsewhere outside of China’s control. If this happens, it would be done with the Expanse team and with a team from China working together. This is a very exciting option but will take time and is still in process. In short, we should have the decentralized exchange coming soon, and the possibility of a traditional centralized exchange for Expanse, Tokenlab, and many other cryptos, launching later.
EXPANSE MEETUPS AROUND THE WORLD
We have plans for Expanse meetups and an exciting new ambassador program. Meeting people in person directly and speaking to them with presentations, is a very powerful way to get people interested in the project. The timing for launching these new initiatives will be after the new Expanse website is complete, as we need a dynamic site that can quickly be updated and adapt to all the new information that is always coming in. So the upcoming website revamp is closely connected to the plan to have meetups around the world.
We have seen some interest from Africa recently, and some Expanse community members who are setting up a Meetup in Africa shared this flyer with us. Additionally, we have a very strong presence in South America due to partnerships, and we plan on lots of marketing and meetups with presentations in South America. Omar Alvarez, CEO of our Guatemala-based partner Gameboard, is already planning presentations and speaking events about Expanse down there, so we anticipate growth in South America with some related key events to come in the future.

Although the current Expanse.tech™ website has served us well, the design is not dynamic making updating less efficient. We also believe it is important to stand out and not be like all the other boring crypto websites that blend together. People tend to lose attention if they are all alike after you have seen enough of them. As Expanse has unique selling points, we plan to build a much more creative and dynamic website—one that will have a powerful impact for visitors, with a design that is easy to update given the new and constantly changing information generated by the Expanse.tech™ project.
We know this is a concern for the community. We hear you, and this is a key focus for the team. We understand how vital this is, and since there is so much information and news happening now, the current site is really not designed well enough to handle modifications as it should. Once the new site is launched, the revamped website will also have a much more powerful impact when people first try to learn about Expanse, rather than just a nice website that appears like many others that people might just browse and forget. This new website, in contrast, will be designed to be unforgettable, so we can stand out from the crowd and be noticed.
AXIA PUBLIC RELATIONS NEWS UPDATE
Axia has helped set up some big interviews with major press, so now we are just waiting to see when they run those stories, and of course, this is ongoing and more interviews are in the process of being negotiated and pitched to the press. So far, six interviews have taken place. When these articles are published they will be in major news publications and give instant mainstream attention to Expanse. So stay tuned, as articles could come out at any moment now.
Now that crypto is going more mainstream, Christopher Franko is being pitched and sought out as an industry expert to provide opinions and to educate consumers by major publications, including Forbes, The New York Times and Fortune Magazine. This obviously is a time-consuming process, but building a brand to get global attention is not a trivial undertaking. Besides, we just need one major story to take off, and as six of the interviews are already done, any one of them could be published at any moment.
If or when they are, we will inform the community and share at once. We are also keeping a close eye on the metrics and evaluating how this is going, but in general, we are very excited about the potential and just waiting for our moment to shine.

Binance is a new exchange that has quickly grown in popularity. Binance Coin is a token the exchange uses to offer trading discounts for users. Adding BNB to Tokenlab does not mean Tokenlab or Expanse will be on Binance, but we are working on getting Expanse added to the list for voting in the future (and we will later for Tokenlab).
For Expanse or Tokenlab to be added to Binance itself, the team and community will need to work together. However, adding BNB to Tokenlab is an important step that can help us move in that direction. So we are now offering (BNB) as one of the options for Tokenlab, and this should increase attention from the Binance exchange and community as it creates another use case for the BNB Token.

As announced previously we have hired Axia Public Relations to help increase the popularity of the Expanse brand to the general public. All good things take time, but there has been a great deal of progress with Axia. The first press release we issued with Axia, “Borderless Corp., Inc. to Launch Expanse DAO” was viewed by far more people than our previous press releases, so that was a good start. We have also had meetings with Axia discussing the situation and how we can gain mainstream attention.
After those meetings, they later came back with three different concepts for pitching Expanse and Tokenlab and how to get lots of attention from the press. These are very clever ideas for getting attention, so we have green-lighted the proposals and they are being shared out to the press now. Expanse.Tech™ has a mandatory hard fork update at block 800,000. If you run the Expanse Mist wallet you just need to launch it and auto-update. As Ethereum is hard forking, it is mandatory that Expanse also hard fork to maintain compatibility with all upstream Ethereum code. Since this is needed, we decided to also improve the code and speed of Expanse at the same time, as this is an opportunity to make some key improvements to Expanse.
Expanse will be updated to the latest technology from Ethereum, and we are also doubling the speed of Expanse from 60 seconds to 30 seconds blocks while cutting the rewards per block to maintain the same block rewards of 8 every sixty seconds. No change for mining rewards over time; it just means Expanse will be faster. We are also decreasing uncle inflation. This update also allows for ZK-Snarks and anonymous blockchain technology in the future. Below are all the technical details of this update:

An affiliate of South Korea’s powerful messaging platform, Kakao, has started beta testing on a new and exciting cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit. They have partnered with the well established Bittrex of the USA to bring many popular cryptocurrencies to South Korean traders, and Expanse is among those crypto tokens to be traded. It is likely this could become the most popular Alt exchange in South Korea with so many great options, so this is huge news for Expanse and the other crypto tokens and currencies to be traded there. As many of you may know, cryptocurrencies and tokens are extremely popular among traders in South Korea so this could bring a big boost to the Alt market and Expanse, in particular. The Tokenlab™ presale is now closed. The final sale for Tokenlab accepts Expanse, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Litecoin, PIVX, and Steem. Additionally, Tokenlab, (LAB) will be launching on Exchanges after the final sale for traders. We are setting aside funds to make sure that happens and leave nothing to chance. We will strive to place Tokenlab on as many quality exchanges as we can, and as previously stated, if any LAB remains unsold after the final sale, it will be burned (destroyed). The final sale has a countdown that has already begun, and the sale will begin November 15th and then run for just over two weeks, ending on December 3. We recently launched Expanse Discord, Discord is a communication system much like Slack, but Discord has much better security and is safer for users, so due to greater security we have switched from Slack to Discord for the community. Expanse is one of the first Alternative Blockchain projects to join ILP, Interledger protocol of Ripple. There are a few “Internet of Blockchain” projects out there, but this is perhaps the most promising of them all. Expanse is staying ahead of the curve and ready, just in case this works out and is a success. It is an open source project and anyone can join, but the Expanse team was one of the first to sign up to be a part of it back in September 2016.
